Now that all our research is complete we would just like to say a few thanks you to individuals who were key to the amount of success we achieved on our fieldtrip.
Firstly we would like to thank all the people who have taken time to view, read and comment on our blog. We hope you have enjoyed following our journey over the last few weeks and we hope some of you have been encouraged to visit Chora Sfkaion if you have not visited the South of Crete before. For those of you have been to Chora Sfkaion, Loutro or Agia Roumeli, we also hope you could relate to our journey and bring you back happy memories. We had an amazing time in Crete and really liked sharing our experiences with others via our blog.
Secondly we would like to thank the University of Reading for organising our trip and more importantly we would like to thank Dr Alan Howard, Richard Tegg and Ken Beard for directing and leading such an unforgettable adventure.
We would also like to thank everyone who took part in our interviews and research while out in Crete. We discovered that most tourists were on holiday when we interviewed them and therefore we very much appreciated that they willingly stopped to talk to us. Furthermore, we would like to thank the business owners for also taking time out of their busy day to share their experiences and daily lives with us. We have learnt a lot from these conversations.

Our hotel owner who was so welcoming and friendly
Lastly, we would like to thank all the Geography students who came on the fieldtrip to Crete with us. Every single one of us on the trip has formed some tight bonds with fellow students who they did not know before, while others have made existing friendships even tighter. It has been fantastic to share such an amazing fieldtrip with people who are just as passionate about Geography as we are. Hopefully we will have made some friends for life on this fieldtrip.
Thank you everyone.
